Job Overview
As a Camping Assistant, you are Eurocamp’s business card at our locations and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that all guests have a great vacation.
Guests check out daily before 10:00am and new guests can check in after 4:00pm. Almost always the working day starts with a team meeting to discuss the work and ask questions. Then you roll up your sleeves and in the morning and afternoon it is important that the accommodations are cleaned and checked. It’s up to you to make sure the kitchen and bathroom shine again, the inventory is correct and the rest of the mobile home is also ready for new holidaymakers. You also use this moment to put the extras people have booked in the accommodations, think of; linen, baby packages, grocery packages etc. Time for a break! Since you also have your own accommodation to live in at the campsite, it’s easy to enjoy a nice lunch from your own kitchen. No hassle with lunch boxes and big bags. From 3 p.m. it is important to be back at the reception to welcome the new guests. You can use this moment to tell them more about the campsite and the surroundings and then you send them off with a map, envelope and key. You will meet guests of all nationalities: French, Italian, Dutch, English, Polish, etc. etc. Therefore it is important that you speak at least English well and preferably another language. Sometimes guests have a long journey behind them and you are the first contact they have with Eurocamp when they arrive, so it is all the more important that you are hospitable and service-minded. Sometimes you stay ‘standby’ in the evening, and have an emergency phone with you where guests can reach you in case something is wrong in the evening. With more than 40 years of experience, you can rely on knowledgeable, experienced colleagues to welcome you as a new team member and take you through all the ins and outs of work (and leisure). Eurocamp is an international company, which means the teams are made up of different nationalities. So you’ll make new friends all over Europe! Your goal:
