We have a vacancy for a burgundy hospitality manager with taste for our four star campsite in France. Have an unforgettable summer as manager of our energetic hospitality team. Working in beautiful Burgundy, region of the finest wines and tastiest dishes. Who wouldn’t want that? We are looking for an enthusiastic, representative and creative hospitality jack-of-all-trades to take charge of our various hospitality venues, consisting of the Bouilloux restaurant, the food court (Theobar) and the pizzeria, full of positive energy. Our restaurant runs 60-150 covers per evening, we regularly organize themed evenings with live music, and we effortlessly bake 200 pizzas on an evening. As the manager of a driven and passionate team, you and your team will ensure that all our guests have an unforgettable culinary experience.

What does your day look like?

Your alarm goes off and you step out into the warm French morning air. You walk to the food court for the daily team meeting. Over a cup of coffee, you discuss what’s on the agenda for the day and tasks are divided with you in charge. Everyone is motivated and looking forward to it because you put them to work in a positive and coaching manner.
Together with our head chef you discuss the menus and go through the orders, which you later place with our suppliers. Before the restaurant opens, you do a tour to see if the other locations are also ready for a smooth opening. During the evening you keep an eye on all locations and jump in where necessary. As the point of contact for both the team and the guests, you enjoy a well-organized evening. You switch effortlessly between managing operational matters and inspiring your team.

What do we expect from you?

You are a born host or hostess who naturally takes charge. You know how to coach and motivate your team in such a way that our guests are satisfied with the service and friendliness of our hospitality team. Your knowledge, experience and passion for food and drink, not only bring the team to a higher level but also contribute to a varied and creative menu and a surprising wine list. Besides managing the team and coordinating the daily activities, you are also responsible for the orders and contacts with our suppliers. It is important that you can make yourself understood in French and that you keep the administration in order. You have a good sense of what is going on within your team and you are the link between the hospitality team and the campsite managers. A broad helicopter view and eye for detail ensure that you keep all locations under control and that therefore the daily business runs smoothly.

In addition, you have relevant knowledge of HACCP and have demonstrable managerial experience in the hospitality industry. Command of Dutch and English and some knowledge of French are required, knowledge of German is a plus.

What do we offer you?

As manager of our hospitality team, we offer you a full-time (seasonal) contract of 39 hours per week. In addition to a good salary, you will receive a daily hot meal, reimbursement of your travel expenses and staff discounts in the store and catering. It is possible to stay at the campsite.
